Fall Fun Branding Session Downtown Zeeland with Happy Camper Donuts

Sometime last year while I was downtown Zeeland they had some food trucks, So of course me being the foodie that I am decided to give them a try. The tiny vintage camper quickly caught my attention, it was mini donuts so it was a no brainer.

It was love at first bite. The donuts melted in my mouth and my taste buds did a happy dance tasting the different flavors. I got Key lime pie, cinnamon and sugar, and blueberry cobbler. That bite took me back to Siesta Key, FL. In May 2021 my husband and I renewed our weddings vows on a private white quartz sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. It was my first time flying, my first time in Florida and my first time trying Mini Donuts.

Of course I started following Happy Camper Donuts them on Social media so I could see where they would be next. I was hooked, but also because I love supporting small business and especially a woman ran business. It is my mission to empower and uplift other women, mainly with Boudoir, but also with Branding and any other way that I can. So I contacted them via social media and set up branding session next time they were in town.

The idea came to the Mother and Daughter team while on vacation in Florida in 2020 (Florida really loves their mini donuts). Fast forward to July of 2021 and Happy Camper Donuts was up and running! Yay!!

Jenni (mom) and Kaleigh (daughter)enjoy making customers happy with their donuts while working together as their own bosses, since they are both Wives and Mothers.

I had so much fun getting to know the duo, while of course combining two of my favorite things, photography and food! It was interesting to hear how the idea was started, to how they make their changing menu. I think that would be the funnest part would be thinking of all the delicious new flavors to offer! My favorite is the Key lime pie, but that is a summer flavor. They do rotate their menu to reflect the seasons. Since they were Downtown Zeeland for Pumkinfest it was all things fall

From Hot Chocolate, to fresh Cider, from basic flavors like cinnamon and sugar all the way to Maple Bacon Mini Donuts. I am one Happy Camper every single time that I lucky enough to visit the ladies at Happy Camper Donuts.
