A few weeks ago, as Thanksgiving was getting closer, my heart just felt called to help families here in our community. I decided I would personally donate food to local food pantries and then I thought" what if I could inspire a few others to join in?" I never imagined the wave of generosity that would follow!!
And boy did our community show up, like in a BIG way!!!
Huge shout out to these amazing ladies and their businesses:
Brenda Clendenon with beautifully Enchanted Floral for donating, shopping and dropping off the donations with me!
Lisa Bomber for donating cash even though she has her plate full she still wanted to donate and with it we were able to get more food and more donations!
Emily TenHarmsel with Sight Eye Clinic thank you for putting a donation box out at the Clinic and for all the donations!!
My amazing clients:
Kimmie, your heart is so big and pure and thank you for all the donations!
Jennifer S and her mother- thank you Soo much for all your donations, it was a lot and it helped Soo many families; your both so amazing!!
I could not have done this without all of you, and I am so thankful and grateful for all of you and your help, together we did this together we helped so many!
What started as a thought of kindness quickly. Turned into something bigger. Powered by incredible heart of just a few amazing people. Together a small But mighty group of three of my amazing clients and three of my wonderful business friends joined forces with me.
Thad? Others generously donated money that allowed me to shop for exactly what was needed, and some even join me to do the shopping and to help drop everything off.
It was because of us working together. We collectively dropped off a phenomenal thousand lb of food!!
Can you believe it?!? A thousand pounds!! Of the donations went straight to two incredible food pantries right here in our community. Harvestand ministries in Zeeland and Community action agency in Holland. Knowing that this food will bring comfort and substance to so many families during the holiday season is truly humbling and profoundly rewarding. My whole heart is bursting at the seams!!!
Why this mission matters so much to me
When I started Crystalized Photography and everyday sense, my mission has been about empowering people and bringing light to those around me. For me, photography is more than just capturing moments. It's about connection, confidence and compassion.
I've been incredibly fortunate to build a business that allows me to pursue my passion and that's entirely thinks to your support. Every session you book every for referral. You send every kind word you share. It enables me to do what I love. And because of that, my heart constantly seeks ways to pour that gratitude back into the community that has given me so much.
The food drive is a direct extension of that gratitude. It's my way of thanking you my client and fellow business owners for empowering me to do what I do and in turn empowering me to give back. It's about demonstrating my pure heart and intention to serve beyond the lens and to truly inspire others to see the collective power we hold together.
But my heart to give back doesn't stop here!
You know I can't resist a chance to spread more love, especially around the holidays! So get ready because I've secretly been working behind the scenes for something extra special for Christmas!! I've partnered with another amazing local business to do something truly incredible for ladies in the community this holiday season!
You definitely want to keep an eye out because all the exciting details will be released very very soon!
Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my super full heart for being part of this incredible journey. Let's keep inspiring each other and spreading that love!
When we lift each other up we all rise!!
With so much love and gratitude,
Crystal
